Are you ordained?
Yes. I am ordained through the American Marriage Ministries, a non‑denominational and interfaith church. Ministers ordained through AMM are authorized to perform both civil and religious ceremonies, giving you complete flexibility in the style and tone of your wedding.
Do you perform customized wedding ceremonies?
Absolutely. Every ceremony is crafted to reflect your relationship, your values, and the atmosphere you want for your day — whether traditional, modern, spiritual, or uniquely your own.
Can you help us write our vows?
Yes. I work with you to create personalized vows that feel meaningful, heartfelt, and true to your style. You can start from scratch or refine what you already have.
Do you offer a keepsake marriage certificate?
Yes. You may order a beautifully designed commemorative certificate — a lovely keepsake to display or include in your wedding album.
Will you notarize and file our marriage license?
Yes. Your marriage license will be professionally notarized and filed promptly to ensure everything is completed accurately and on time.

I do. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small gathering, I create a ceremony that feels intimate, warm, and personal.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have your date. Popular weekends fill quickly, but I do my best to accommodate last‑minute ceremonies when possible.
Do you travel outside the Des Moines metro area?
Yes. Travel within the Central Iowa region is included. For locations farther out, a small travel fee may apply.
Can we meet you before booking?
Of course. I offer a complimentary consultation so you can ask questions, share your vision, and make sure I’m the right fit for your ceremony.
Do you officiate non‑religious, interfaith, or blended‑tradition ceremonies?
Yes. Your ceremony should reflect who you are. I welcome all backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions.
What happens after the ceremony?
I’ll sign, notarize, and file your marriage license. You’ll receive confirmation and any next steps required by your county.
